The Design Series offers one day workshops as a non-degree enrollment option for professionals and beginners in a variety of design areas. Keep pace with the latest trends and learn everything from basic design and color theory to technological advancements in the design industry.

Whether you’re an interior design enthusiast looking to enhance your natural talent or a professional of the field wanting to get up-to-date training, the Design Series has something to offer. The workshops are offered in the mornings and afternoons during the week and on the weekends.

Each session will be held at the Institute of Interior Design campus located within the Miromar Design Center. Participants in the Design Series will be in direct contact with professional designers and the unparalleled resources the Miromar Design Center has to offer.

For the Design Enthusiast

So, you’re not a professional interior designer but your love for design is undeniable. Then brush up on your skills with The Institute of Interior Design’s Design Series. Workshops will provide the interior design enthusiast with inspiration and training to develop their natural creative talents. Sessions will cover a wide range of interior design instruction, training, and explanation that is both classroom and hands-on driven.

Classes are kept small for the student’s benefit, so register early to reserve your place. Payments must be made early to maintain your reservation for the session(s) for which you have registered. Any course that does not meet sufficient enrollment may be canceled and a full refund will be provided upon presentation of your original receipt.
